Like I have said ad nauseum about the saints call - only ONE official had that call and the view from elevated angles is drastically different from field level.
Even when you have 7 field officials and 2 clocks everyone is not looking at the same thing - everyone has their keys and should be sticking with them - especially in transition zones. In other words ball watching gets you in trouble.
I recognized one guy from that crew and no I am not going to ask him what happened - he was clearly looking at his keys and area.
I wish the video showed where the covering official was and where the bill of his cap was looking.
Also this stuff happens so fast it's unreal and it keeps getting faster.
and if the official doesn't see the ball in the ball carrier's possession he can't blow it dead - I did that once and that IW sticks with me YEARS later.
officiating is hard enough without being criticized by your own.

I just watched the video of the game. At the end, lots of folks went onto the field that I'm sure didn't belong and celebrated near the endzone and it looks like it took a very long time for the players to even start going to midfield to shake hands. The video ends then... I'm guessing that Logansport maybe got tired of waiting.
I did see a post from the Plaquemines Parish Schools facebook that was reposted by one of my former players from down there 35 years ago asking for the fans to stay in the bleachers and do not enter the field at any time.
Im very happy for SP and many of my former players who have sons on that team. I'm hoping that I might be able to travel to the Dome to watch the championship.

Nah those aren’t me but you’re in the right class and I know those guys, I think I was a year behind you. But I don’t really want to dox myself any more than I already have in my way too long posting career

Yeah he was a problem all night. Looked like a DI kid on the field and seemed like every time he touched the ball central forgot how to tackle or run at him. I’m not sure Neville would’ve scored a point without him out there, if I were that coach he would’ve had 20 carries in that second half
Seemed like central wanted to come in and blitz very aggressively, which completely smothered Neville for most of the game, but the few times where it bit them, it was a huge run by #9 after missing the first wave of the defense

Nichols has been doing that all year. I think he's rated as a 3 star, but frankly he should be higher. He is very good at taking his time, finding a crease, and darting through. (Reminds me of Laveon Bell...the way he used to run with the Steelers.) Nichols was a large part of the offense for much of the year. Normally the passing game is better, but qb had an off night (not to mention he was under a lot of pressure from a good Central defensive line.) I don't know who Jaylen has offers from, but he's gonna be a good one wherever he goes.

Yea I’m excited for SP. watched them play 3 times this year and tbh; they didn’t look good at all. Shout out to Coach Lyle Fitte, he did a tremendous job this year

I don’t follow the sport as a whole enough to even begin to understand the districting and the new playoff system. Being in the same district but a different playoff bracket still doesn’t add up to me
