No, I have to pay my own expenses. I would have to board my dogs and get a room. That would be pricey.

It's none of my business so feel free to tell me to kick rocks, but does it generate any revenue at all or is this purely for the love of high school football?

Can't believe Dartez isn't getting any interest from smaller colleges.

hasn't recv'd a single CFB offer ... obviously due to his size at 5'8"

JD is expected to receive an offer in baseball where his talent is equally as good

I’m not complaining. It keeps the lights on and everybody is fed.

PICK: South Plaquemines

Clean, I know you’ve been all over the state, but I thought you spent time in Haynesville. Have you turned your back on on of your hometowns?

I don't think they claim me

I moved from there in 1984.

I went back one year as Evangel Christian's radio play by play broadcaster. Evangel was in the same district as Haynesville.

ECA blew them out and was throwing the ball in the second half. I got an earful after the game from Red Franklin. I was just the radio guy, not affiliated with Evangel's school, but you have to sit there and take it from a legend.

Once he finished dressing me down, he did calmly ask about my mom.

Does subscribing to the LSHAA network get you the live streams of all the games or do you also need access to that cox channel for the actual games?

You can download the app and watch on your phone. Or you can watch on Cox channel 4.

It gets you access to the games for free. I’m watching them now, but the quality sucks arse. I watched a lot of streams from some Podunk schools this year on YouTube that had a much better picture than this.

Ended up buying it and was coming to ask if it were my internet or if the stream just kind of sucked

The quality of the picture is nice and the audio has stayed consistent, but the frame freezes pretty much every time there’s any actual movement on the field, which is annoying as hell.

Able to get it rolling I guess as good as it’s going right in time to hear the weirdest argument against using replay in this game, basically described high school refs like they were war veterans that we need to salute the quote was something like “I get it’s important because it’s the state championship game, but the guys in stripes are also important and shouldn’t have to deal with this”

What a ridiculous argument. Had to take a second to make sure I heard him right.

Gotta love it! Hurricanes vs Tornadoes!
Haynesville & South Plaquemines about as far as you can get !!
325 miles apart!!

Meanwhile Central HS has the I-20 Gauntlet in the Playoffs!
....West Ouachita ; West Monroe ; Neville & Ruston all within 30 miles of each other!

Okay I’m doing a little bit of an 180 here, the amount of replays in this game is absolutely nuts and killing the flow of the game
