They're willing to blow it all up and lose Max and Newey to keep Horner...why? He's clearly the least important of the 3.
I'd argue Racy Spice is the most important of those three long term.
The team has been built by him over almost 20 years. No one else is going to step in and keep it going without interruption.
Drivers bounce around to other teams all the time in F1. You don't base management decisions on what the driver wants.
And Newey is 65.

No one knows but that won't stop rampant, Twitter speculation. It doesn't matter if it's true - as long as you're the first to say it.
A funny but unfortunate byproduct of F1's immense popularity is that there are a ton of web sites, twitter channels, YouTube channels, podcasts, etc., covering F1, and the quality of the content is all over the place. There are numerous places where the presentation is impresssive but the content and analysis is amateurish. And even quality sites have to play the attention game, so if you're on YouTube (for example) you have to play the algorithm, with custom thumbnails and click-bait titles.*
*Not F1 related, but for me one of the worst YT algorithm offenders is Scotty Kilmer. I like his content but his click-bait titles are exhausting. I've stopped clicking on most of his videos now because I know the video content isn't going to quite match the title. Even Rick Beato working the algorithm annoys me a bit.

eww, even worse... Thought it was for them to build the PUs in 2026.
Don't nascar my F1... I don't want any American Automakers names on the cars.

Oh, you must not know that it was fairly recently that Red Bull was running the Renault PU and calling it a Tag Heuer engine
Posted on 3/5/24 at 2:39 pm to YOURADHERE
feels like a scam to have your company badged on a renault engine
i'd assume tag heuer watches suck based on that quality

DTS fan?
Check out the cam covers.
The Cosworth engine that was used by the majority of the teams for years was a Ford financed project from the late 60s.

SIDEBAR: I really like the Tag F1 series just because of the long connection to the sport. However, I think the Tag Monaco is tPreeminent motor sports watch. It's the only square-faced watch I've ever liked.

Get rid of the race, keep making the watch in memoriam.

It kind of is... its Ford. That would be as bad as putting Dodge on a million dollar super car
Ford =/= AM or even Alfa Romeo
Now I say all that, realizing we did have Rich Energy all over a car for a bit.

I know, I know. It's a parade. At least qualifying is exciting.
If we could only do something to make the cars smaller.

Is any of this true for sure?
I've stopped paying attention to it. I've grown tired of the rumors and virtue signaling. Call me when people get fired or leave. Until then, I'll just worry about Williams getting their steering wheel fixed before Friday

The Heuer Monaco Gulf that you posted is the best looking watch in the series. Ive considered getting one for a while.
Although its a Tag nowadays and they've just put Heuer on it.

My TH F1 Red Bull edition has been my daily driver for about a year and a half now and has been amazing. I'll post a picture later when I get a chance.

Tag def isn't what Heuer was and they are using the name as a selling tactic.
They aren't terrible though.
