I guess I want to see USA win but I'd kind of hate to see Venezuela eliminated. Playing for their country seems to mean so much more to the team and their fans are so much more involved in the games. Watching the games with the Japanese and Latin American fans are just more fun than USA.

I'm afraid he did. The slow motion was brutal. The ball didn't hit him and continue its path, it hit his hand and then popped straight up into the air. His hand took most of the energy of that ball.
