After her loss in the US Open finals to Sloane, it was such a weird sight to see her giggling with Sloane while waiting for the trophy presentation and then she partied with Stephens and her team that evening.
It was kinda endearing in a way to see someone in an ultra competitive solo sport be so supportive of her friend at her own expense and show that those relationships mean just as much to her as winning and losing. But also, it shows that she just doesn’t have that killer instinct that you need to win a slam.
