It irks me they put so many races on cable. I know they do that to try to drive people to the paid cable channels, but I’m not going to pay that much to watch a handful of things.
Because I wanted to see the race, I signed up for the the YouTube TV 20 minute preview. Glad I did, reminds me how much of the broadcast is commercials. I could do the free trial to watch the whole thing, but why? I’ve been watching for 10 minutes, 4-5 minutes have been commercials.
I can also see the stands are maybe 85 percent full. I remember when they had stands all the way around the track and STILL sold out well in advance. Sad to see.

Been watching the girls basketball game, but the shot they just showed off the press box, the place looked half full. Maybe 60% at best.

You may be correct, I was trying to be generous. Whatever it is, it is well less than 50% of what they used to draw at Richmond.
