Ricky’s Wikipedia page is already updated to list the win.

Stenhouse doesn't have fuel for a burnout but still needed another lap without that caution. Too bad we didn't get a real finish

They have to get rid of the human element of someone pushing the button for the caution. These cars are hundredths and thousandths of a second within a lead change for letting a human interfere with the outcome of a race.

Needed less than a lap. That was the final lap.

Glad you NASCAR guys spent 4 hours of your off day just to see that finish.
Jokes on you, we got to see 2 hrs 45 minutes of commercials....

Shoutout to Brad Daugherty, I know they talk about MJ being in NASCAR but he’s been it for so long and finally got a Daytona 500 win. Congratulations

Yeah we’ve definitely got some suspects appearing all of the sudden.

They use timing so it's not completely human element.

Jack Roush is like, “Didn’t that guy used to drive for me? Whose idea was it to fire him?”

Exactly.
My sister and BIL are big into F1.

I was at his last win, Dale Jr's last Daytona race. That was much sadder than this.

Also funny how they both disappeared after I called them out and the last few posts haven't automatically been downvoted.
They told on themselves.
They told on themselves.

And to think, if nascar stuck with rules from 98, Kyle would be your winner.

Fair, but all these changes over the years (the chase, stages, no racing to the line under caution) has just killed my interest to some extent. Seems very gimmicky.
I guess part of it too is I quite watching for a while in post-high school and now all my childhood heroes are long gone.

The longer we go, the more the rules and scoring system from that era makes sense.

That rule has been gone for a long time now. Probably since like 2004.
