That was good racing. And the 11 goes into the wall.

Hamlin is never gonna win that Championship it seems. Gotta pull for HArvick now in that Budweiser scheme

Did any of you find that awkward?

Harvick penning a tribute for the #4 as he passes the wheel to the new driver, "do everything to protect your team"

Truex: I'm tired of having to drive twice as hard because of you cocksuckers

Tell me why Homestead isn’t the Championship race anymore? This has been an excellent race. Phoenix is gonna be a snoozer with this new car

I agree, I liked Homestead being the finale. Phoenix just screams "meh" to me every year, even with crowning the champion there.

Recap

Snoozfest 3 laps after start/restarts

Larson hitting barrels was most entertaining part. Blaney slowed down way too much and Larson came in hot. Even tho it was Larsons fault it shows his winning mentality compared to Blaney. Larson is locked in and could take it easy but is trying to squeeze every second of time to win. Blaney is not locked in but taking it way too conservative to get in. I like Larsons approach better, he is not slacking up and has a winners mentality

Gibbs took a hit all at once. Something broke on 11 car and engine go boom on 19.

In summary,

More broken toe links

Broken steering link

Faulty tires

Little passing one groove track

No consistency when throw yellow

Pit crews are bigger impact than actual racing

Truex was fit to be tied. After all the pit mistakes then his motor blows up. What a day for him

This car sucks and is not ready for prime time. And they need to stop protecting Goodyear failty tires. I can’t recall last time an F1 tire went bad on its own.

I didn’t watch a single lap. Sounds like I didn’t miss much.

Just hard for me to lock in on a race with NFL action going on.

The last stage was great racing. Pretty impressive how Bell ran them down and passed for the win. I enjoy how the playoffs amp up the competition as they get closer and closer to the end.

I DVR races and can watch in FF. I can’t stand Letart he talks as if no one has ever seen a race in their life. And how he hangs on words its just god awful. FF in double time helps that and slow back down for key moments. Its not super fast so don’t miss anything and no listening to booth helps.

2005 United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis. Only 6 cars started the race because of tire problems with all 14 of the Michelin runners. Definitely the most egregious although qatar and baku in 2021 weren't a good look

I remember that and fans were pissed. That hurt F1 in USA for quite a long time.

WOW. What a finish. RCR guys take eachother out.

And those are some of the hardest hits I’ve seen at Martinsville

Apparently Childress made the comment that he had never had someone as stupid as Sheldon Creed drive for them.

Not a great comment.
