Lost in all this is Zane Smith signing with Trackhouse. Spire buys the LiveFast charter to run a third team. Zane will be loaned to Spire from trackhouse.

I think that’s why they split. She was terminal and didn’t want him to go through it. You can tell it affected him last year. I think that had something to do with his year.

Saw some twitter criticism of MTJ tonight about his released statement about Sherry, which is unfair since they were no longer together. It's pretty obvious it was written for him.
Truex is a pretty lowkey guy anyway, and said next to nothing about their breakup. I agree he likely knew this day was coming and is heartbroken right now.

That sucks. I know absolutely nothing about their history, but it seems to me it might be even harder for him if they broke up before hand.

I still don't understand how that cuntwaffle is still brought up around the sport constantly. She's accomplished nothing in her time in racing but gets treated like royalty.
RIP Sherry though - people who weren't around her and Truex through the cancer ordeal need to STFU about their personal life over the last couple of years.
