To be fair, they are at his home track so it is gonna be talked about.

Yeah, but the guy has been in the Cup Series for several years now, we’ve all heard about him being from Dawsonville. They don’t ever say anything new, they just tell us about the same pool hall and siren.

I hear ya, but we all know that these broadcasts cater to the casual viewers who may not know that fact.

Interesting to think such a historic car was still used four more times in 2001 after the Atlanta race.

My understanding is that, other than Rockingham, they didn’t start doing that until later.

These NASCAR crowds are depressing.

I remember what it used to be.

The crowd is pretty good from what I'm seeing.

Also remember that they took.out the Turn 3 grandstands(Elliott seats) and the backstretch seats.

They better get this race in by 11. Rain is moving into the Hampton/Griffin/Woolsey area between then and midnight.

So I get downvoted for just stating the weather situation at the track, where I live 20 minutes from?

If they scheduled a NASCAR race in the driest place on Earth it would rain there.

My uncle is there tonight. A small part of me hopes he gets dumped on by rain since he ragged me for getting soaked last Sunday.
