I’m as happy as I’ve been at the finish of a NASCAR race since probably the 1975 Daytona 500 when my all time favorite driver BP won.

The best car with the best driver at the end. Hard not to like it.

That dude can wheel it. Who’s in the 91 at Watkins Glen?

Wow. A race that started under a cloud, literally, delivers a heckuva finish.

What a drive by the 91.

This was dramatically more entertaining than we deserved.

Someone needs to hand him a 9mm to fire off some celebratory shots into the air.

Probably won more money this one race than a full sesson of V8, if he gets big share of purse

75 laps or 100 laps. I think he was gonna win it regardless.

I get the feeling he might pursue some more of this NASCAR thing.

Wow, never would have imagined a New Zealand road course guy coming here and winning in his first start.

Not too surprising in this case. He's a top guy in a series with very similar cars, that only runs roadies, driving for Trackhouse which has shown ability to win road courses.

Ambrose was always good on road courses as well with a not great team.

I hope so, he’d bring some fans in too I think. I know I’d root for him.

This was fun.

Me.and you seemed to be the only ones on here even wanting to give it a chance. Glad we did.

He just said he’s committed to one more season in Australia then he might look for a Cup ride. Guy’s a wheelman supreme.

Same. Especially the RC's.

And he already is w/ a top team in Trackhouse.

I’m willing to say this experiment was a success for NASCAR

Shhhhh...Don't say that too loud or you might trigger a couple of folks.

100% agree.

Now I wanna see them do this in Downtown Pittsburgh in the Triangle on those narrow arse streets.
