Like I said, it’s the nature of racing on a tight short track, suck it up and move on.

Bubba should understand that. He raced at Mobile Int'l Speedway. Half mile track in Irvington.

Did Kyle mess with Truex and grab his nuts?
Posted on 2/5/23 at 9:58 pm to TidenUP
Precisely. I’m gonna get flamed because I know he’s persona non grata here but I like Bubba a whole lot better than I like Dillon, I think Dillon’s a twerp, but he just said in the post race that the only way you could do anything was make contact and that everyone should’ve known there was gonna be contact. I have zero issues with it, but at the same time I think this freak show has run its course. There’s a reason they stopped running these cars on 1/4-mile tracks in 1972.

When the announcer says "this is his kinda track" I almost feel like that could be an insult. Its a football stadium and there was a pre-race cypress hill concert.

If they want to run a 1/4 mile take them to Slinger.
This track is such a fricking joke I didn't even bother watching.

Other than the 9 wrecking twice, that was the best part for me....

After over 100 cars hit each other all night long the only one to retaliate during the caution was Bubba Walrus. Will nascar take action especially after his intentional wreck on a superspeedway and then attacking an Asian driver on live TV late last year. And with their new rules they just published. No one else took action after the caution flags except Bubba Walrus.
And I hate that nascar pimps him. On promos they show the top 4 drivers from last year and then throw in Bubba. Its so intentional it makes me sick. And every chance they get they’ll go interview Bubba even though he’s mostly a backmarker in most races. I have no problem if there’s a reason to interview in normal flow but its so intentional which viewers can see right through it.
Good to see Truex win. Rowdy almost won but just ran out of car so conceeded to the 3.

It’s as bad as when they used to interview Dale Jr during those couple years where he was terrible, only could run good at Daytona and Talladega. It was sad how they would interview him all the damn time.

It was impossible to get the cars up to speed without another wreak, which never stopped. If these guys don't make hay the first few laps in track position they don't move. Just seems strange to tear up the Coliseum every year for this Go-Cart track.

The track is way too short to get any meaningful separation.
I love this idea but it is time to move it.

Hopefully this is a sign MTJ has better luck this year. Seemed like every time he had a decent car last year he cut a tire or something.
