Paint Scheme Preview

NASCAR couldn’t even bother to put the original paint scheme to compare with the new ones?

If only he could run white walls like in that graphic ??

The tires this weekend will have the white lettering instead of the yellow.

@A_S12

@OriginalFunko has put on pre-sale a new @NASCAR 75th line: collectibles of Bill Elliott celebrating his Talladega speed record ($12), DuPont Jeff Gordon ($12) and Dale Earnhardt in the Wrangler car ($35).

They will come out in July online and stores like Barnes & Noble.

I think the Quaker State and DeWalt cars look fantastic. Having the correct sponsors and number fonts make them proper throwbacks.

Also a fan of Logano's paint scheme from the early Penske days. Hailie Deegan ran a similar truck version last year. Classic look.

Pace car from last race at North Wilkesboro

Members of the Parsons family at the newly named grandstand at North Wilkesboro.

Yes ... North Wilkesboro Speedway has lights!

Yes. North Wilkesboro victory lane will use the traditional lift.

In the turns, they don't have SAFER barrier on the inside wall at North Wilkesboro. NASCAR uses the University of Nebraska as a consultant on where they are necessary.

Love this.

I’m a bit of an oddball, or maybe not so much although most people probably know him as a broadcaster, but BP is my all-time favorite driver, ever, and he was an incredible person.

I rooted for him even when he was a struggling independent. He probably could have won a few more races, sooner, if he’d been meaner on the track, but then he wouldn’t have been BP. Although he got mean with DW at the end of the 1980 World 600 and took everything Dale Sr. had for him at Texas in 1981 and brought it home both times.

Me too. Growing up, Davey was my favorite. When DJ went to RYR he became my favorite. Loved the blue Quality Care car and loved the UPS car.

Update on Cale Yarborough: Cale’s daughter posted on Facebook two days ago that his problem is neuropathy of the hands and feet. That’s not a dread disease but it’s a very painful and problematic and pretty much disabling condition especially for someone who’s been as active as he has been all his life.

My dad had that in the last years of his life. He said it felt like he had ants all over his extremities. The sensation of pain was also lost for him. He had several injuries during this time that required hospital visits but they didn’t hurt him.
Hope Cale isn’t in any pain.

Gonna be sort of weird hearing Carl Edwards in the booth tomorrow. He’s been basically radio silent since his abrupt retirement.

There won’t be enough air in the booth for both Kyle Petty and Clint Bowyer in Stage 1.
