Checo did not just forget how to drive. I sense some shenanigans.

He was saying something like "It's the same issue." after he locked up and went off. Definitely something up with the car.

Trouble in paradise?

This. WTF? But I believe that turn grabbed a Ferrari or two, also. Perez just took it to another level. Consistently.

Albon having an amazing early season in what's been the absolute worst car on the grid

Have you lads forgot the first few races last season? RBR worked through issues before strolling away from the field.

If this is still happening in four more races then perhaps we have something interesting.

According to Marko it wasn't a problem with the car.

Fun quali session - just watched the replay.

I think it's awesome that two drivers that lost their seats are performing so well given a new seat.

Albon is driving the wheels off that Williams, and what can you say about Hulk, except "wow" - love to see it.

frick Mercedes… “our car is shite, to the fans, expect a disappointing and terrible season”

Everyone knew they were playing possum when they made that statement 2 weeks ago. Hope Russell crashes out Hamilton and himself tonight.

I liked how the announcers were saying that maybe the other teams could keep up with RB this weekend and then Max ripped half a second off his lap

Apropos of nothing, I noticed that numerous drivers finished in the same position in both races. We'll see if anyone keeps their streak alive in two weeks.

Alonso P3 in both races.
Hamilton P5 in both races.
Gasly P9 in both races.
Yuki P11 in both races. That's gotta hurt.
de Vries P14 in both races.
Lando P17 in both races. Ouch.

After the last race, I noted that six drivers finished in the same position in the first two races. That's about a third of the field. Given their current grid positions, any predictions on who will make it three in a row? In F1, because the cars themselves are spread out, good drivers on good teams tend to consistently maximize their position.

I'll say Alonso and Yuki have the most likely chance to three-peat their finishing postion. And Lando is the least likely to three-peat.
