Are y'all using regular controls, wheels, etc? I want to get something soon but idk how crazy i want to go.

Sounds like that Logitech is the way to go to start. I appreciate everyone who chimed in.

Just look up mods for the pedals. The stock brake pedal is a joke. I swapped my clutch and brake pedal and put a stronger spring in.

Race 2 and Ferrari already might be taking grid penalties....
I'm forgetting the rules, is the grid penalty 10 places the first time they have to exceed that limit then 5 for the subsequent times?

Don't worry. No one else knows the rules either. You end up on the grid wherever the stewards decide you go.

Charles Leclerc will take a 10-place grid penalty in this weekend's #SaudiArabiaGP after taking a third set of control electronics.

I'll be taking Leclerc in my Draftkings for sure. I love the grid penalties for the top of the field because they end up back in 3rd within 10 laps anyways.

Whew, that Ferrari as #2 in the constructors is going to be tough this year

I have the Logitech G923 wheel/pedal setup, which is known as the best value/decent wheel. Not a starter/cheap wheel, but certainly not a top notch wheel. Then I have a regular stand I got for it. I don't even have a gamer chair. My work chair is fairly comfy, so I just use that.
I love it, but definitely don't get into it enough to get the full setup, but those are freaking awesome.

Not trying to become pro but think it would add a different level.
My only concern is space. Could make it work in one room but long term might have to set up in the garage.
Want to try is out first though.
It's a complete game changer compared to a controller.
For me, it's not space but just hassle that keeps me from playing more. As I said, I don't have a full setup and my main Xbox is in my living room. So I have to lug my work chair and also the wheel/stand from the closet it's stored in every time I want to play. There's definitely a bunch of times I kinda want to race but end up not doing as I don't feel like grabbing my work chair from upstairs, bringing it downstairs, grabbing the wheel out of the closet then picking it all up afterwards.

What does this even mean? You are only allowed 3 sets of control electronics for the entire year?

To think you could buy a better simulator than Haas.

That’s a sweet rig. Any recommendation on gaming platform or PC?
