Charles' inability to convert poles to wins is really mind boggling.
The Ferrari is great in one lap pace but shite when they get to the race because of the tire degregation. Ferrari needs to rethink their strategy, and Charles does a great job getting the car on pole but has no chance in the race.

good video update on where things are with Vegas right now:
Such a cluster... Like he said, I think people were excited at the prospect of this at first, but it is a huge clusterfrick.
Don't see how the businesses or locals go for this after this year. Imagine there will be uproar to cancel go forward.

F1 has built some permanent infrastructure for the race, so they'd have to eat those costs...but yeah, i don't see Vegas going through this again.

Wasn't there a video posted last week showing that the taxpayers and the resorts tax have actually subsidized a large portion of the expense? Like 40 million or something?
As for going through again. I was actually surprised how busy it was last weekend, but like that one interviewee said, that market right off the track was down 2 million dollars due to the BS. Imagine overall, its hundreds of millions of losses for all involved.

It will be the prettiest shitshow ever.

Why is the Vegas race starting so late?

You are probably more informed than me… I just read F1 paid two hundred mill for the land and built the paddock, which is permanent.

BTW I was flipping through YouTube and ran across the original movie Grand Prix its rivaled only by LeMans as the greatest racing movie of all time. It starts out at Monaco and this is 1965 prior to the addition of the swimming pool and the extreme chicane coming out of the tunnel plus the run out of Tabac is actually through the current pit lane. They pitted right in the front straight back then. Incredible movie. The sound of the cars. The cinematography is so beautiful even 60 years later. A must watch for any f1 enthusiast.
James Garner definitely isn't Steve McQueen but I can kinda ignore him and enjoy the sights and sounds of the cars

Because it's essentially a Vegas tourism ad aimed at Europe and Asia.

Wow, I did not know that...
Btw, drove down the backside on way to the strip and was thinking to myself "this isn't exactly the most glamorous thing to show on tv..."gas stations and shitty stores along the way.
Outside of the strip or paddock, can guarantee it won't be wide-angle cameras
On all the other street courses, its not trashy buildings

Wonde r if they’ll hang up those fake tarp things like they did in Azerbaijan.

Baku covers their trashy with tarps painted like fancy buildings.
But yes, Vegas is trashy. Like depressingly trashy, at least to me. I have to go there for work sometimes, and I get in a bad mood as soon as I step off the plane and see slots in the concourse. It's so sad. I sometimes end up renting a car and heading out into the desert instead of staying in the city. Last couple times it was a Porsche GT3 and C7 Z06.

Bought both movies on Prime a long time ago so I can watch any time.
Malory Archer wasn't bad in her day either.

After watching Kym's video I am ready for this.
Going to be such a trainwreck that you can't look away from. Can't think of something more Vegas.
