Kimi's interviews back in the day were also hilarious. Stroll just looked like a brat in his interview, and it was awesome to see. Pay Driver.

I missed qualy but just looked it up.

Wow, McLaren is still up there at the top. (I know Lando had a lap deleted.)

Bottas made it to Q3.

Tsunoda out-qualified Sainz and Perez.

Despite Horner/Marko rambling on about Perez having a contract through 2024, it wouldn't surprise anyone for them to announce that one of the AT drivers will replace him for next year, after this season concludes. I think everyone, including Red Bull, expects and wants Danny to be the one in the Red Bull seat. But don't sleep on Yuki. I don't think it's obvious at all that Danny is going to definitively beat him the rest of this year. Anyway, a big bonus of getting rid of Perez early is getting Lawson in a seat next year instead of him getting delayed by another year.

The guy genuinely believes he is called out for his poor performance because he is Mexican. He should be fired for being delusional.

Bottas drove the Mercedes in 101 races over 5 years. He made every Q3. Put him in checos seat

He uses Russell fricking up once, compared to his epic shitshow qualifying efforts for the past 12 races, as proof.

What a fricking clown.

Despite another poor display, Horner defended Perez, stating that they’d still be leading the drivers’ championship even if Max Verstappen wasn’t at the team.

“I mean we’d still be leading the world championship with Checo if we didn’t have him but obviously the delta between the two is difficult to explain at the moment,” he said

Pretty easy really but Racy Spice can't say Perez has become a talentless hack.

Almost a good Q3.

Doesn't normally get said, but great work by stewards on quick track limit decisions.

Some last-minute changes amid tire concerns. They have revised track limits and have inserted an extra 10-minute practice session just before the sprint shootout so the drivers can get used to the new limits. The sprint shootout will be delayed about 20 minutes from its originally scheduled time.

They will further evaluate the tires and may place a lap limit for the tires, possibly mandating a three-pit-stop race.
