Yep, plus he’s probably got a penalty coming so may be as far back as P16? Red Bull isn’t winning this one unless something absolutely wild happens.

Hell of a qualifying. I don’t see how Stroll would be healthy enough to race tomorrow. Brain has got to be soupy.

It looked like Stroll will need a whole new chassis. That cell looked a bit damaged.

If Max picks up a penalty or two you have to think he takes a new engine and tries to make a run from the pit lane.

Not happening unless complete chaos. Track too difficult to pass on and the RB doesn’t have the pace.
There's something a little squirrely about this track.

I expect at least two red flags.

Calling it now Stroll and/or Sargeant eat the wall tomorrow causing a red flag and Osama Bin Russell taking out someone in the first lap

No penalities for Max. Just reprimands.

A rep for Alpha Tauri didn't even show up to contest the obvious impedance.

Nice to see the maFIA still knows how to do it.

No further action for the incident for Max Verstappen impeding Logan Sargeant.

AlphaTauri didn't show up for the Verstappen-Tsunoda FIA hearing:

"It was noted that the representative of Car 22 chose not to attend the Hearing."

The best is that the stewards admitted blocking the pit lane exit warranted a penalty. The driver gained an advantage, but lost the advantage later.

A penalty of a reprimand

The RB cars look terrible in one lap quali but performed decent in the free practices, at least better than their one lap quali finishes. Ferrari have one lap pace but haven’t had full stint pace this year. Merc could back door a finish here, but I’m assuming Max is going full send tomorrow until he gets to the top step but I don’t see where the car can actually make that push before killing the tires

Quali pace and race pace have been majorly different for everyone not named Max this year.

George v Lewis will show that tomorrow. If Merc can keep from fricking up their strategies. Ferrari is going to chew through tires again.

Lando is in the catbird seat. Damn I hope we see him get his first. Would make my day.
