Final answer. Really torn on my Haas/Alfa placements. Pretty much 50/50 on flipping them. I'm betting on Haas having more consistent driver performance making the difference this year.

WCC:

Red Bull
Ferrari
Mercedes
Aston Martin
Alpine
Haas
Alfa Romeo
McLaren
AlphaTauri
Williams

Drivers:

Verstappen
Leclerc
Checo
Sainz
Alonso
Hamilton
Russell
Gasly
Norris
Ocon
Stroll
Hulkenberg
Bottas
KMag
Zhou
Tsunoda
De Vries
Piastri
Albon
Sargeant

Would someone please explain the scoring system?

Should be a lot of fun throughout the season

I fully expect Merc to improve and bring in some effective upgrades. Hell they almost caught Ferrari last year.

We should ask the admins to change the Grand Champion's username to "1" (should he so choose) for exactly one year

Feels so weird having Stroll so far up the driver rankings. Can't deny the pace the car has shown, though. All he has to do is keep it on the track and the points should come in bunches.

All the people rushing to change their picks are vaginas.

Massive vaginas.

Honestly contemplating moving Mercedes below Aston Martin at this point
Is it safe to say that Mercedes made a lemon in 2022 and then evolved that to make a potato in 2023?

I don’t understand the concern for Merc, outside of Hamilton’s usual BS about the car/tyres/etc.

They’re currently the 3rd/4th best car out there and that’s without any changes/upgrades. We all saw what they did last year to improve, why wouldn’t you think they’d do the same?

That's why I have them at 2. Merc has already said that major upgrades are on the way and even the slim pods are going to leave. Don't think they are writing off this year yet, but they are playing the long development rather than winning in Bahrain.

Aston makes sense to make a big jump with all the money poured in, just don't see them truly challenging Merc with the same engine, which means the Top 3 probably stay unchanged this year.

For me it's less about Merc's own pace and more of the fact that I don't think Ferrari is going to give them as much help to keep up as they did last year via self-destruction. If Ferrari really did fix the engine issues, I don't think Merc has a snowball's chance in hell at 2nd.
