I'll reserve judgement on nixing Barcelona until after this year's race to see how it works out without the chicane.

I'm not a fan of that Madrid layout.

What's the track profile for Circuit de Catalunya?

It's a lot of fun on the F1 video game.

they are applying to join F1 as the eleventh team this week. Andretti says he expects an answer by July.

Andretti has been trying to get in F1 for a while, but was basically told he needed to bring a manufacturer along. GM is also looking at supplying engines.

Chevy has dominated Indy car and the C8 6.2 and Z06 5.5 both have positive reviews. They know how to make an engine.

The engine itself is probably the least concern of a manufacturer coming in.

That battery and mgu-k has to be scary. Hope they don't start fricking around with making those spec like they have talked.

Andretti would come in as a customer team until new regs in 2027, so hopefully they’d have time to get their engine plan together.

If AM and Honda team up, that’d leave Haas, McLaren and Williams as the only customer teams.

Chevy doesn’t make that engine, Ilmor does and Chevy slaps their badge on it. I also wouldn’t say they’ve dominated.

Ford, Chevy, and another American owned team entering the grid would be a huge shift for the sport. This will change the landscape of American racing culture.

The rumors of Max’s camp wanting Checo off RB are spicy

But not surprising

Who said anything about Chevy entering F1?

Caddy is the manufacturer Andretti is hooked up with.

Chevy isn't really an international brand, thanks to some inept management, so F1 isn't a good fit for them.

Come again? That’s pretty dominant. Even if Ilmor is a part of the development that’s a benefit?

This would be interesting, from Motorsport.com on Twitter

Marko has given De Vries a final ultimatum to improve his performances by the Spanish Grand Prix or he will be replaced by Ricciardo

Ricciardo is very willing to take that AlphaTauri seat
