I had the same hurdle but I've fallen in love with the midfield story lines. Being a Haas fan really shifted my perspective on the sport.

The midfield racing is exciting at times but I find it waters down the entire race when that is the major storyline of a race. I haven’t invested in a team because I don’t want to cheer for a team that is midfield and never wins and don’t want to jump on the bandwagon of the best team.

I have more fun rooting for drivers than I do teams.

Max is running with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust.

Surprised Hamilton didn't just punt him out the race.

If Perez is a worthy driver, he should still have an advantage over Max because he has been able to manage his tire wear. So he should be able to pit late-ish and theoretically have fresher rubber than Max the rest of the race. We'll see how he does.

Never thought the day would come.
