Observatioms after both practices
It was hot today which might have kept some fans away
Hamilton is trying to increase his woke score in case he invests in an American sporting team
Danica, at least I could understand her talking unlike last weeks woman. Not saying I like her commentary but understood it and overall not too bad as they bounce around a lot in practice coverage.
HUL had a great lap in P1 but then wrecked. Gotta be smart, last year Haas was hurt in having extra parts by early season wrecks from SHU
Max has so much speed its scary good.
F1 has always been a glitzy event. I miss the pre race gals assigned to each team. The US owner is just ramping it up more (the glitz). Hate drivers who inject politics though and F1 does need to put a stop to it lest they harm the product. All it does is piss off one half or the other. HAM is seeing end of career and trying to stay relevant so goes political. Same as Vettel did at his ending. Just retire then or don’t come to states since you hate it so much.
Indy racing beats F1 by leaps and bounds. But I like racing and these techy cars. Only passing will be start madness and then driver errors during race (or pit stop leaps). But as powerful as F1 cars are its a challenge to stay focused all race long and not make a mistake. So someone overcooks a corner and goes off a bit will allow passing.
Rain on Sat or Sun would shake things up.

As a spec series I appreciate it for what it is. F2 is similar in that regard. If Indy took its platform worldwide and started racing at the world's best circuits with the world's best drivers, I would prefer it, as I am more of a racecraft appreciator than a fan of the engineering behind the different F1 constructor designs. I would love to see the grid compete in spec cars and see who comes out on top.
I firmly believe that driver would be Fernando Alonso at this time.

^^^
Would love to see an F1/Indy double header on same track to compare racing. Doubt Indy goes worldwide but their cars would race better on most tracks. The PTP is mich better and gives option to driver when to strategically use.

FE race in Monaco today, should be able to catch the replay. Pretty solid race.
Really want to watch NOLAsport run iN Miami, but having trouble with their streaming. Part of the Carrera series running with F1 this week. Anyone use IMSAtv?

A lot to be disappointed about with IndyCar but the tracks/schedule aren’t it. I’d say the circuits compare favorably to F1’s.

What the hell is wrong with Bezos?! Being giga-rich is enough, but he also put in the time and effort to improve his appearance, and that's who he chooses to be with?

KMags getting ready to get screwed by the FIA...you know its coming

McLaren.
Maybe a Mag penalty will get Norris into Q2.
ETA: nm. That’s not how it works.
