I fell asleep after the 2nd but damn did the Avs get RAPED from the puck drop on. 5-1 in the playoffs and an 8-0 run against the Blues in the playoffs had them complacent. Pitiful effort contrasted against a ballsy Blues effort. The Ave better right that ship quick or it's golf time.

Agreed - I fell asleep midway through 2nd. Team effort was flat. Complete opposite from Game 1. Hopefully this is a wakeup call.

Makar wasn't even meh, he was bad. Couldn't hold onto puck, errors everywhere. Probably the first time I've ever seen him have a bad game.

Thank God the golf is done, so we can see a real sport.

Upvote. Is golf the only sport that has it's own separate senior tour?

Is it usually this cold in Calgary this late?

quote:

The Flames were able to host a sea of supporters outside the Saddledome throughout their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series. But Calgary was forced to cancel its festivities ahead of Game 2 in their second-round matchup on Friday because of parking-lot damage caused by inclement weather on Thursday and further reports of snow, wind and other poor conditions to come on Friday.

The internet says the average low is 38 for May. I couldn’t live that way.

The Rangers have given up so many short handed chances tonight. It finally caught them.

It was almost 90 here today. I can't even imagine getting a winter storm in May. I was done with winter a long time ago.

I was in Colorado last week and was hovering around freezing of a night while 70s during the day. Was so nice.

RMNP still had almost 40 inches of snow.

That sounds nice as long as the snow stays away. I had to turn the air on here weeks ago.

I’m a few hundred miles south in Bozeman, and we’re getting the same weather as southern Alberta. Snowed last night and this morning, rained/sleeted most of the day. Was about 45 all day.

It was also insanely windy here yesterday, same as Calgary apparently

This is getting out of hand quickly

Does Edmonton pull Smith just for something different? I don’t see this going well.

The crowd is going to go completely berserk if Smith takes the walk in the first again

They’re already bronx cheering every time he makes a save

I didn't know you was that close to Calgary. But makes sense now as you're a Flames fan. I understand it's pretty scenery up there. But you pay the price for it when winter lasts from October to May.

I have said time and time again the Oilers are never winning anything of significance with these goalies.

The whistle blew right before the puck went in.
