The Bluejackets would have to be relevant for that to happen. And since the franchise has existed that isn't the case.

Guess we won’t see Toad around much until Raiders start up. Dang it.
At least his team made the playoffs. Mine just got the first pick so maybe they can show up next year. But that run to the Finals last year was fun.

Yeah I don't watch much NHL after Pens out.
But you're wrong either way, Cards posts are probably my most frequent outside the NFL.

Pens are at the twilight era for their stars.
If the pens don't fall off the cliff, they'll be getting blasted by the Blue Jackets pretty often. They likely need a full rebuild unless they want to wallow in mediocrity for a while.

The Pens have plenty of youth and some older bad contracts coming off. Two sides to that. Malkin and Letang being gone and freeing up a ton of money for aging guys falling off is not a bad thing.
Strong chance Malkin goes KHL to retirement ftr and that was his last NHL game.
