It sounds like you had a good time at the strip club.

Holy shite yall I'm going to game 6 with the cup in the house

Ok. This was a shock but Florida team is still going to lose. Give them credit for not quitting. Now planning on Thursday’to see the parade.

I was able to watch the entire game on ESPN plus after all. I had no real problem with any of the penalties called on the Avs but I sure felt like they ate the whistle going the other way. The Bolts brought good energy. The puck luck looked to be in the Avs favor so I felt like they might pull it out but Darcy is who Darcy is. McKinnon won’t belong in that upper echelon of players until he gets clutch goals in the Finals. I think the Avs close it out in game 6 but I’m not taking anything for granted because that other locker room has a lot of high character guys who have this championship thing down. I just think the Avs are due for a 6 goal game. See you guys back here soon.

Doing just fine with my original prediction of Avs in 6.
That’s not to say it’ll end there, but it’s hard seeing either of these teams losing 3 straight.
But you sure are one miserable frick.

5-2
Makar wins the Conn Smythe
Thought that was going to be the script. (Makar MVP IF they won that game)
The Champs played with great poise, purpose and patience. I was stunned by their 3rd period stamina. The oxygen tanks must have been working OT.
The Avs performance was the exact opposite -- which was stunning -- especially at home. They were often flustered and out of sync. The D hardly attacked, playing it too safe and were far too cautious in the neutral zone.
Avs MUST also push back against Maroon. The big lug is intimidating, wreaking havoc and not being challenged.
Sunday is gonna be a brawl (if you can go, GO.) The Avs game is a relax game, but playing with controlled abandonment.

It’s gonna be crazy at Tampa come tomorrow night. I hope they lightning win just cause I want a game 7….. A top event in all of sports.

Kuemper. Can NOT continue to allow weak goals.
McKinnon is skating well and getting opportunities. But as you noted, gotta finish and get the puck in the net.

Yup. Gonna be insane.
Don't know what to expect. If the Avs don't score first they'll press and things might get outta hand fast. (and you have your Game 7)

Imo a game 7 in the NHL finals is much better than a nba or mlb game 7. The closest thing to me is a 5 setter at a tennis major. Gripping.

I agree with pimp that Colorado probably has a six goal game remaining. I think Tampa will not be able to keep up. But, the X factor is Vasilevskiy going berserker mode in these last two games.

I think we're due for one or two more anus puckering 3-2 games.

I was at so many of those games. I hope it does the sheer hatred of the rivalry justice. Listening to Darren McCartney yap is going to try my patience though. I hope they let the Yzermans and Forsbergs and Federovs and Footes of the world have the mic. The image that says with me is Rene Corbet getting sucker punched and his head hitting the ice and his eyes rolling back in his head and me thinking I had just almost watched a murder( which Bertuzzi than tried to accomplish in the lowest moment in hockey history a few years later when he played for Vancouver). One minor lesser dramatized moment in hundreds. All the romanticism aside, the game is better now.

4 out of the Avs last 5 goals have been lucky bounces. I’ll give Kadri credit for the OT winner in game 4. But the 4 other regulation goals have been nonsense. 2 off of skates. One off a Mighty Duck knuckle puck frick up and whatever that Strum goal was. He fricking duck hooked it 90 degrees left of goal off a teammate and in.
Avs are feeling the pressure from the back to back champs. Vas goes full shut down mode tonight. Let’s go Bolts!

Hope so because I want a game 7.
However, I have a feeling Avs are going to bury Tampa. Maybe not 7-0, but a lopsided score nonetheless (5-2)
