Richard Childress is donating 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine.
quote:

NASCAR Hall of Fame owner Richard Childress is donating 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine to help with their war against Russia, he announced on Wednesday.

Childress is currently a member of Ammo, Inc.’s board of directors, and said he reached out to chairman Fred Wagenhals shortly after hearing Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky ask for ammunition rather than help fleeing the country shortly after Russia invaded last week.

“I said, ‘Fred, we got to help these people. They need ammunition,’” Childress said on Fox News on Wednesday morning. “He stepped right up … Now we’re turning our production to this as our No. 1 priority.”

NASCAR will allow teams to show support for Ukraine on the cars (as with any scheme, wording/context still requires the OK) ..

Was listening to SXM yesterday for a few minutes and it sounds like NASCAR will be looking to address the issue with the extended cautions from flat tires… don’t know what there is to do without retooling the suspension.

And I have Kyle Busch winning at home today.

William Byron had a top-3 car last week. He has the best car today. Denny Hamlin will finish behind him

I think Briscoe gets it done today

Anyone catch the Ryan Sieg-Ty Gibbs feud yesterday? Gibbs got the better of him for sure.

That’s a bold prediction, but I just don’t see it happening.

Sieg completely embarrassed himself trying to take Gibbs out.

Should have just straight up wiped him out instead of doing whatever he was trying to do.

Can’t wait for all the Las Vegas related quips from Mike Joy today.

Yeah I’m not sure if Sieg was just trying to race him hard and make a point or to actually wreck him but he wrecked himself instead.

Busch is only up to 28th, 15 laps in. He’s in a backup car.

Pretty sure he’s up to 18th at the competition caution.

ETA: not bad from starting from the back in a back-up.

Blaneys put crew stepped up this week.

I miss listening to MRN. The classic rock station in Augusta quit airing the races probably 10 years ago.
