Zane Smith got locked down long term by Front Row Motorsports. Big move for them and kinda puzzling how this kid isn’t in more demand. He was signed to replace Kurt Busch in the 1 before ganassi sold to Trackhouse. Haas should’ve locked him down. We know Keselowski likes him.

Wonder how much Gibbs paid to get Truex in playoffs plus his grandson extra driving time

Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Greg Ives announced on Friday that he will retire from his role atop the No. 48 team pit box after the 2022 season and will take a another position within the company.

“After 17 seasons on the road and making countless memories, I’ve decided to step away as crew chief at the end of 2022,” Ives tweeted in a statement. “There are many reasons, but the most important one is the chance to focus on my family and spend more time with our kids as they grow up.”

Ives has been a crew chief at Hendrick Motorsports for eight full-time seasons, inheriting the position with the No. 88 team when Steve Letarte left to become an analyst for NBC Sports. Ives won three races with Dale Earnhardt Jr. his first year in 2015, and 10 total so far in his time with Hendrick.

#NASCAR Cup Series qualifying and Xfinity Series qualifying BOTH canceled. Field set by rulebook. That means both series will be on track for first time in their respective races (no practice this weekend).

Aric Almirola isn’t retiring. Staying on for another 2 years. Guess they missed on Kyle Busch.

It helps to have a sponsor who backs you loyally. Almirola has that with Smithfield, and Smithfield is sticking with him.

Kyle had his one year flash in pan with old car that was tricked out after years of upgrades. Now he only wins this year taking out Chase

This is quite a take.

I would say Larson is more talented than Chase.

Yep. Plan is for them to do invocation and national anthem with drivers already in their cars, fire engines, and get started. Cars are actually still in the garage.
