Whatever. Here's a clue. I went to Military School. I have the ability to be petty and resentful for a LONG time....
And here's another. I'm more pissed at NASCAR about this than your supercilious little driver...

Nobody is better under no pressure than Mickey Elliot. He is in his element when no one is watching

Yeah, b/c someone who won a championship can't perform under pressure.
Completely ridiculous take. If you could have a worse take than your Freddie take in the Braves thread, this is it.

Damn dude, this post screams counseling and medication

The Championship he won during the COVID year with barely any fans in the stands? The Championship supports my point, he won't win another unless we go back to social distancing or just don't have fans there at all

Or it could just be low level, self deprecating humor...

You mean the year Harvick won 9 races but didn't make the final 4?

Exactly, what a great system

He's gonna win another 2 or 3, I hate to dissapoint you. It wasn't a coincidence that he won his first title the day of Jimmie Johnson's last race. It was a literal passing of the torch.
Just like the Mets are gonna win the NL East and the Braves won't even make the playoffs, eh?
Your takes are garbage.

The Mets are leading the NL East currently
The Braves are 3 games up for the wild card
Also, you need to learn the difference between a prediction and someone saying "I wouldn't be surprised if X happened". I said the Mets and Phillies would be tougher than people think AND I wouldnt be surprised if the Braves missed the playoffs. The Mets ARE tougher than almost everyone in that thread thought, the Phillies are not. The Braves are in the playoff for now, but are coming off a hotstreak I doubt they will match at any point remaining in the season.
It also says a lot that you care this much MONTHS later

Thats like saying Austin Dillon is going to win 7 because he drives in the 3
Its amazing how bad of a poster (and how gullible) you are

He will always be the second best driver (at best) on his own team as long as Larsen is there.
So you've got a guy in the same equipment that is better, then you have to deal with the ebb and flow of manufacturers gaining and losing ground on each other (because sometimes the Chevy just won't outrun a Toyota, and vice versa).
You've got wrecks.
He is not the ringer he used to be (arguably never really was but thats a different convo) on road courses with the new package (so far anyway)
There are quite a few drivers just as or more talented, though a lot of them are older
PLUS the playoff system where you can just throw everything out of the window.
How is anyone comfortable predicting he is going to win 1 more, much less 2 or 3? And not even just him, how are you going to predict anyone winning it with any certainty?

If the Braves win the division, let alone make the playoffs, you need to self-ban for a year. Deal?
Using Austin Dillon in a comparison to Chase is a non-starter. They don't even compare talent wise.
You are gonna be awfully disappointed the next decade-15 years b/c Chase is gonna win his share of races and titles.

Let them swap equipment and see how each of them runs....

I love how you didn't address ANY of my points about what I said about baseball, just went straight to a ban bet where you give up nothing
I don't like or dislike Chase, I don't think he really has any likable quality about him that isn't his relationship to his dad. But I don't hate him either. I think he is overrated because he is the most popular driver, but overrated doesn't mean bad. So if he does win more, thats fine. I don't really take a ton of stock in the championship anymore anyway, I watch the races every week and just hope each individual race is entertaining.
His fans are awful (as we can see in this thread)

I think Chase runs better than Austin in the same equipment, but not as much as many would think.

No worse than the 24 fans in the early/mid 90's. They were insufferable (and that was without social media...)

The Chase thing is IMO because a lot of them (at least the ones I interact with) are Georgia sports fans, and they are very insecure about sports anyway because they wrap so much of their personality in it and have so little to show in terms of championships. I was hoping it was going to get better after UGA won it this year, but alas.

Interesting take, and I think you're right.

Why is this dude melting about chase? I am specifically not a Hendrick fan but he doesn't bother me. He seems pretty genuine.
