Yeah the shark gills don't look like actual vents. Maybe the ribs condition the air in a good way for the rear of the car?
It may be the angle or quality of the picture or it may be that they are really shallow but it looks like something is raised above the bodywork on the leading edge. We shall see in the morning I would guess.
While you don't want any air to separate from the side of the car when using vents for the radiators forward of the rear you definitely want that hot air to keep flowing with the curves of the car and exit between the upper wing and the B wing in the same area the exhaust does. Anything raised would seem to defeat that purpose but unfortunately, I can't see in CFD though legend has it Newey can.

Ferrari, to me, is a bright red Testarossa.
That is Rosso Corsa and a tad more bright and orange than traditional Ferrari red but it is the most recognizable road Ferrari color. The current car looks matte which would make it look darker in most lighting and presents a little more like the traditional Ferrari race car red. This color has been tweaked on the F1 cars from year to year. This car reminds me of a slightly lighter Rosso Portofino in matte. Probably the biggest departure for Ferrari was between 2003 and 2007 when they used Rosso Scuderia which is the brightest and most orange of any Ferrari F1 paint.
I personally like the color it was exactly what I was hoping for and have become a big fan of the matte look. I "build" a lot of cars online just for the helluvit and I often find myself drawn to the matte colors at least the brighter colors, I hate matte light grays, I am looking at you Porsche with your "chalk".

Question for the board. I won a contest with my company and I'll be going to the F1 race in Barcelona in May. Have Paddock Passes as well as Pit passes (no brag, just saying). Never been to a race before so I was wondering what I need to see and do while I'm there. Thanks all.

Pretty good looking, but I agree about them still having the matte finish. I want a shiny, red Ferrari.

My wife and I will be there as well. We should definitely get together for an adult beverage or two!

Chalk isn’t matte.

Same. The matte Ferraris look dirty on the track.

Good by me VA. I'll be flying in Thursday and passes Friday-Sunday. Coming home Monday.

We’re in Spain from the 6th until the 27th. Fly into Barcelona on the 20th and leave the same day as you. Sounds like rooftop tapas and drinks to me!

Chalk isn’t matte.
It isn't technically matte but it presents matte unless you get a glint of light off it. I knew I should have used a caveat. I just could not think of the Audi light gray matte color, it may be Nardo but not sure.

Nardo is flatter than chalk at least to my eyes. My neighbor has a chalk Panamera. It’s not dripping or anything but it’s much more reflective than a matte finish. Chalk also looks way different in the configurator vs real life.
Now for matte finishes that actually look good you can look at BMWs frozen lineup. BMW’s frozen silver is maybe one of the best finishes I’ve seen on a road car.

Staying at the Hotel Arts. Don't know how close that is to where you are or where the race is.

We're at an AirBnB directly west of you. Looking at the map it's not far at all.
