And? He was racing for a literally meaningless 5th place that he didn’t even get.
How many times have we heard him say something along the lines of ‘thanks to checo, couldn’t have done it without him, great teammate’ the last 2 years? It’s been multiple.
He had an opportunity to repay that a little bit at quite literally no expense, and that’s his response?
