He's got a chance to stay pretty high if there's rain.

Yeah, not worth taking chances in the sprint race for anyone to be super aggressive in the wet

Tomorrow is expected to be dry compared to Sunday.

Did Charles leave the Ferrari pit wall and walk down to Merc? Think he asked for an application?

His sarcasm on the radio was great. I'm surprised he didn't yeet his steering wheel when he got back to the garage.

Anyone know what the short term and long term impact of the FTX fallout has on Mercedes? Im sure they arent hurting for money, but wonder what happens next.

The Haas wasn't bad at all in FP1 on mediums.

It's hard to tell what's what in an FP1 before a Sprint as they are all over the place on run plans, but Mick actually looked good on his medium runs, so I wouldn't assume Mag will drop like a stone if it's dry.

He won't win, but in a 24 lap race I wouldn't be surprised to see him top 5.

Hopefully, the check cleared the bank 90+ days ago, though FTX weren't a huge sponsor.

The sprint races have proven to be popular and I enjoy them even though I was initially against the idea. But I'm still very much against the idea of setting the main race grid from the sprint race results. In a tight championship someone's season can be ruined by a puncture or as an innocent victim of someone else in the sprint race. If they just make the qualy order the main race grid, it will be a good system.

They will have a new sponsor by next month and move on like nothing happened.

Shady sponsors and F1 go hand in hand.

I see it as basically a 2 day race with a free pit stop. I wish they would let the pole sitter keep the top spot and use the sprint to set the rest of the field.

oddly enough that's how F2 does it every race. They invert the top 10 qualifiers for the sprint race and only give partial points. Sunday grid is set by qualifying. Why can't F1 see this is the answer?

Leclerc long running softs to see if they can make the whole sprint race. Camera slowmoing the tire wear and dumbass Kravitz taking about which side of the garage albon prefers. Wtf is the point of having these clowns talking anyway

It is faux drama doing any kind of inverse grids. You are rewarding people for being slow.

Last year at Interlagos just showed what bullshite sprint races are. Hamilton had the fastest car that weekend and just walked through the field. Absolved the team of any jeopardy.

Get the F1 app. Still a lot of fill for practices, but the commentary hasn't become unbearable yet.

I'm almost 100% f1tv these days. I really only like when Sky has Nico on there throwing shade at Hamilton and generally being a knowledgeable a-hole. Jenson's not too bad either.

I like Jenson. Which he was there more often. I don't mind Karun either.

Di Resta sucks. Damon Hill sucks. Johnny Hebert sucks. Ted is ok in small doses.

Di Resta sucks so hard. He's the worst of the bunch.

I thought Hinchcliffe did really well.
