I just got done reading Adrian Newey's book. You should check it out. I didn't know cars back in the 80s had blown diffusers until I read the book.

My son is in advanced math, calculus and physics. His plan is to get a mechanical engineering degree focused on performance automotive and alternatively also in wingframe engineering for the aerodynamics. He's taking auto tech classes, too, to get into the whole car so that he gains good internal visualization. He's joined Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and has driven in multiple autocross events. He has a '20 Mustang with the High Performance Package and the Handling Package, which gives him the performance MagnaRide suspension, front and rear track quality sway bars and six piston Brembo brakes. He's added an upgraded fuel pump, an oil catch can, high flow downpipe, high-flow cold air intake and a performance intercooler and has it tuned for E85 fuel.

Would this book be good for him at this stage of his education or better later down the road after he has good practical experience with the mechanical side of auto mechanics?

I'd be fine with another US race.

I wonder what sorts of things the F1 drivers get into when in America that flies under the radar. I bet a few of them go shooting and other stuff. Maybe they don’t have time

they are going to make the engines. sauber is headquartered in switzerland and the engines will be made at audi's factory in germany. so some logistical challenges are there.

if porsche somehow re enters the fold, i am wondering if they become a customer team.

I wonder how hard of a push this will make to get an F1 race back in germany?
