What’s the discussions about the VSC and pitting? Are they saying they shouldn’t be allowed to pit?

They are just saying you can get boned when you are in the lead and a safey car comes out. I didn't think it was jerking off hamilton, just pointing out that happens.

Whatever hurts Mercedes. That’s what they are complaining about.

Max restart was a masterclass. I’ve never seen a pass like that within a few meters of the start/finish.

The Virtual Safety Car is a terrible idea and it has been pointed out before because of the effect it can have on races.

The DTS episode for this race should be good. I can see them setting up the Lewis vs George blood feud now.

Yeah, they have the same convo 5 times a year during the broadcast and Kravitz brings it up twice as much during his notebook segments. It’s a years-long discussion but no one cries about it until merc is involved…

Yeah. If the positions were reversed they wouldn't say a peep.

And now these nuthuggers are grilling Toto like Merc had a chance to win and they fricked up.

it was effectively nullified by the full safety car. At that point, merc was never going to beat max in a straight fight

Ferrari fricking up at Monza in front of those Italian fans is going to be the icing on the cake

max pitted from the lead today and won. Last year max pitted from 2nd and won. Both times it was the correct choice.

Chris Medland
@ChrisMedlandF1
Helmut Marko just told me an agreement has already been reached with all parties for Colton Herta to join IF he is granted a Super Licence by the FIA, and he expects a decision by Monza #F1

Just coming to post that. Sounds like this is the prerequisite holding up Gasly to Alpine.

Gasly to Alpine
Huerta to Alpha Tauri

Mick ??
Danny Ric ??
Latifi ??

What spots are still open? Haas and Williams? Latifi would seem to be the odd man out but if ric goes to Williams where does that leave mick?

Thanks for the feedback and the downvotes for my question. For those that aren't F1 fans, Oracle-Red Bull Racing is now using Honda engines.

Honda has "officially left the sport" but will continue to supply the team with engines through 2025 according to Wikapedia.

Now ya know.
