When he had to HAM drove through the grid like it wasn't there in the recent past.

did Lewis ever have a car that could so easily win from beyond 10th on the grid

2016. Merc could have started 3 laps later and still cruised to 1/2.

Toto and Paddy would fight because Toto wanted the engine turned down more so the FIA didn't step in and stop them. The goal was to win by the closest margin possible.

The current Red Bull + Max combo is probably the most dominant car-driver combo I've seen in a long time.

If Ferrari wasn't actively fricking it, then yea maybe. Probably the most consistent, especially considering the only issues they have had were the first couple races of a new gen car.

Eh, I love the engineering of seeing fast cars. Who doesn't want to see them together fighting, but if it means sacrificing the engineering then f that.

Ya, I'm with this.

I don't want to watch a spec series. I want to watch dudes go 250mph while passing. Otherwise, why pay them $30million plus sponsorships.

Alonso leaving such a good car is just crazy. Although the aston seems to be getting better every race, they were putrid early in the season

This season is turning out to be a snoozefest after last season's great excitement.

I am starting to wonder if the 2022 formula for the cars was overhyped

I hear ya but this is year 1 of RB dominance, I too hope Ferrari gets new management. However, Ill start to worry abt a one team show in 2024, Ill happily salute Horner and Max for another season and a half.

Alonso isn't exactly known for his brilliant career moves

Agree and I also think he’s an idiot for leaving a car that’s consistently 5/6 in races for one that has been an off and on shitbox.

But sounded like he wanted to drive a other few years and alpine wouldn’t commit to that and AM would. To each his own

On rewatch, after the first pitstops, Ferrari told sainz to run 1:53 laps. Max was running 1:50 laps and drove up to and around sainz. Race over on lap 18 of 44

Lewis Hamilton was asked if he would speak to Alonso, Hamilton said: “No. I would have until I heard what he said.”

There is no love most between these two. It is quite obvious that Alonso is just jealous that Lewis beat him as a rookie in the same car when Alonso was already a 2-time champion, made better career decisions and has won more championships than him.
