George has to feel good about tomorrow knowing Ferrari is going to take care of Leclerc

To me Racey and max are no different than any other principal and number 1 driver.

Really curious if RB says F it and takes new engine with grid penalty. Not sure if it’s too late but going 10 11 on this track and knowing you have to start 20 at some point as well, just take the hit here. Tough track to pass but you can probably still salvage points, especially if it rains.
There just isn't much worse tracks to take a grid penalty on than this one, I'm not sure if its worth it.

Racey Spice always reminds me of having a Cam Newton and his "ongoing investigation" smirk while talking

Im not sure Max would even take a grid penalty for taking a new engine this week. Not sure how many he has.

I would think this track would favor Ferrari the most, but it's known for eating up tyres with the summer heat and Ferrari has struggled in that aspect this year. Anyone know what the forecast is for tomorrow? I'm not sure what equates to hot for Europeans compared to US southerners.

Looks like it’s gonna rain from 8am to about 1 pm and not projected to get to 70 degrees f until 7pm. Race is gonna be at 3pm local time.

Alonso would be winning races in a better car. He still has it.

Don't have to pay for a driver and their finishing position wouldn't change much if they have Max or Lewis driving their shitboxes.

Have to disagree. When VA Buckeye and I were in Barcelona, Christian and Zach were the two nicest people I came in contact with.

I can see that. Horner seems like a good dude who is just doing his job—politicking for his team—like anyone else would.

So, assuming they could get a legendary top driver, they would finish the year at 9th instead of 10th and have an $50MM swing to pay a top driver versus take a pay driver?
Lawrence Stroll summed it up, his son can win a world title if he gives him the best car on the grid. Winning the title without the best car on the grid is almost impossible.

In a perfect F1 world, as defined by yours truly, all teams would use the same chassis and PU, tires would not degrade enough to affect performance, and the driver with the best RACECRAFT would be crowned WORLD DRIVER CHAMPION.
But, money...

Well, Ferrari is trying awfully hard to prove that wrong by handing both championships on a platter to Red Bull.
