If Indycar can mange refueling during a race why can’t F1 do it? Cars could be smaller and would add more wrinkles to the races.

Monaco is the most boring race every year BY FAR.

France was decent in 2021, but I'd watch Monaco any day over any of the other Paul Ricard races.

It was kicked around, but costs and safety were the reasons.

It would be nice to bring back refueling.

Russell going to retire Hamilton

Which team do you think Ham goes to in 2024? Russell will move to #1 for Mercedes and Ham will need that #1 contract to keep his female valet to follow him and carry his shite.

Mclaren if anywhere.

No need for a Merc 1 driver if they are tooling around the midfield.

Refueling would be fantastic for strategy and the drivers would love it, but refueling is more dangerous in F1 for a couple of reasons:

1. Ethanol burns at a lower temperature, it burns clear (so it doesn't create a visibility hazard), and most importantly, you put it out with water, so it's easy to manage. In fact, every time an IndyCar is refueled, they splash water on the car as the refueling hose is pulled away to make sure any spilled fuel doesn't burn.

2. F1 insists on doing ultra-quick pit stops, so in order to keep up with the three-guys-per-corner tire changing, F1 refueling is always pressurized. That means any mistake in the coupling or uncoupling of the fuel hose can result in a massive fuel spill, and you end up with little Max almost getting cooked out of existence:

Even in the pits now refueling is capped at something like 1.5L/sec or .5gal/sec in freedom units.

And it has to be done inside the garage, which is crazy.

A guy was waving and when I waved back he gave me the finger. I didn't hear any boos.

Watching the in car from the #98 BMW M4 so I at least don’t have to see the front end

You'll also get lots of behind the scenes footage when it is in the garage.

Onboard with the #12 AMG GT3. The view gives you an idea of how fast that is coming at you.

Nvmd, he was passing the Aston that crapped out

lol. Had no clue because the main feed isn’t working….

I know the Grello Porsche is out due to a wreck but it’s a weird top 5 with no Porsche in it.
