1.5 hour pre race show. They have been promoting the hell out of this.

They have to to make their investment pay off. Plus after losing Indy they have no major American races to broadcast. With it being in afternoon and in NBA NHL playoff time they need all the help they can get.

I see nothing wrong with it. I’m honestly ingtrigued to see the F1 vs. NASCAR head to head viewership. Plus it’s throwback week so the contrast between the two is more jarring than ever
