Atlanta is getting Jorge Soler from Kansas City, source confirms to ESPN. He’s been on a power-hitting surge of late. @JonHeyman was on it.

How did we not get a better SP than Rich Hill.

Only thing I can figure is that they think soon they’ll be 7 deep with

deGrom
Stroman
Walker
Megill
Carrasco
Hill
Williams

Jorge Soler, Adam Duvall, and Eddie Rosario is the best AA could do.

I don't know WTF the Braves and Phillies did in the NLE. Are you in or out? Mets clearly in, Nats clearly out. If they're in, they really didn't do jack shite. If out, jack shite.

Now THIS is a big one. Price was probably a little steeper for him.

There's a 40 man roster crunch coming and he's gotta move some of the prospects.

JA happ and John Lester

Mo'ron is fricking brilliant, he found a way to get much older at the deadline, but not better

Love him. Wish he could get the pitch count down for some longer outings but that’ll come in time

I suggested (seven pages ago) that the Cubs trade Kimbrel to the Sox for one of their surplus of OF’s (Jimenez) and got laughed at. I’m shocked the Sox gave up Madrigal for Kimbrel. He seems like a long-term top of the lineup bat for the Cubs.

That's it? Wow.

Worth nothing that Rodriguez's ERA has gone up a bit since the sticky ban

Nick Madrigal underwent season-ending hamstring surgery. Madrigal is expected to be ready for spring training in 2022.
