Not that it’s a bad thing but I feel like he’s had a couple chances to ring chase and leave AZ over the years and picks the money over it (again not a bad thing, I would probably do the same

I think he could extend his career another 3 years of elite plays if he finally makes the move, and reportedly he’s open to it. Been a long time coming, I remember in the draft people talking about him possibly moving to safety

its 11.5 million per year for 3 years.
maybe hes from around there. or his wife is. if it's not all guaranteed then if it's too much after two yrs they just dump him. by keeping it reasonable he probably makes it very likely to actually collect on it.
