glad we got this done yesterday
glad we got it done before having to sign Latt, Ram, and Williams, too, so they lose leverage

I give him 3 years on that deal. Maybe 4.

Trent Williams also discussed deals with the Chiefs and the Bears. The Chiefs wound up with signing Joe Thuney, the Bears signed Andy Dalton and Germain Ifedi, ensuring that the 49ers would make Williams the highest-paid offensive lineman in history.
Schefter just torching the bears here

Oof. Rough market for him. He was one of the best slot corners in the league not long ago

I bet we hear a lot of reports about those guys turning down better deals than they ended up accepting down the line
Apparently the Giants want no part of Galloday despite previous reports

the WR market this year is crazy. it almost feels like the C-word, like owners want to reset the market with the craziest position in football

I think there’s just not a ton of teams with cap space and the main spender (Pats) don’t value WRs that have a 20 mil price tag. The other teams with money have been either conservative or went with more affordable options like Corey Davis
Plus, there’s a lot of good fantasy names on that list but I think each guy has some real question marks about them. Galloday apparently has a ton of teams weary of giving a big big deal, JuJu isn’t a bonafide #1 but likely wants to be paid like one, Samuel is a unique type of player that not every team or system values at a super high price tag, etc etc

All you said, plus
1. These guys are divas still coming to terms with the fact that they’re not getting paid in this cap reality.
2. The league is saturated with 2nd and 3rd year WRs who can ball and are comparable at a much lower price.

Yep, most of those guys are on the wrong side of 30 too. The only ones who aren't that you didn't mention was Fuller who can't stay healthy for a full season. 2020 was about to be the exception, but he needed PED's to do it.

Yeah, Golladay is really good, but injured all the time and a mini-diva.

Potentially big: There's buzz around the league that the #Bears could end up moving on from Pro Bowl CB Kyle Fuller, per @BradBiggs. His cap hit for this season is $20M and Chicago would save $11M against the cap by moving on. One to monitor as the day goes on.
Former player of Vic Fangio.

Watch him go to the Redskins and they’ll go all in on having all of their defensive players being a pass rusher or defensive back.

John brown at 3.7 is a steal

Fun fact. The cardinals got him with the extra pick the got for the Saints to move up and get Brandin Cooks. Brown might be the better receiver at this moment. And he’s a better teammate. He’s has a sneaky good career.
Yes cooks had good numbers last year, but they were garbage numbers on a garbage team with a good QB.

Up to 9.5 mil. Good for Butler. Worked his arse off of from being a UDFA to become a legit pass rusher inside
