Asking around on Sam Darnold, and the sense I get from scouts, coaches, and executives is that the perception of him among fans and some in media is significantly higher than of those inside the league.

That’s weird because I think most fans think he sucks arse. I’ve heard it the other way in that there’s more interest in him from teams around the league who think they can fix him

Deshaun on the Broncos would be awesome. That offense is ready to explode with the right QB.

Yeah, he's mistaken if he thinks fans support a mediocre QB I can understand his media point. People like Orlovsky and Cowherd prop up Darnold way too much.

The media uses “fans” like an “anonymous source.” It’s basically a cop out for them not actually claiming the question and/or opinion.

And I never said you couldn't get under the cap I jut said that you couldn't get under AND build upon what you had. You cut a lot of salary, but you've signed no one in their places. Who is your biggest addition to the roster that wasn't there last season?

Darnold saw ghosts while playing for a privileged program, he was never going to be a legit NFL quarterback, but nobody simps like ESPN simps for trash arse Southern Cal QBs.

For new Washington Football team CB Will Jackson III it’s a 3-year deal worth roughly $14M per year.

After weighing offers from the #Patriots all day, center David Andrews is going to free agency, source said. He’ll now look at offers from the rest of the league

This is such a weird report...did no one tell Andrews about the legal tampering period?

Never saw that happening

Darnold just is what he is.

People don't want to admit that he just isn't this great top pick.

I know the jets surrounded him with shite but they would trade him for a 2nd rounder with the quickness.

My guess is they've been offered a 4th rounder for him.

Damn that is a solid CB for a cheap deal. Wish the Saints would have jumped on that. It looks like they are settling for Sherman. It might come down to him being the best that is left that we can afford. Meh

Trent Williams and the San Francisco 49ers deal is for 6 years, $138 million.
He is the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history.
Of the $55,100,000 guaranteed
$30,100,000 million is a signing bonus.

They also got Jamaal Williams from GB. Don't mind that signing.

Teams must officially be under the cap for 4PM ET today

Could see a lot of cuts and trades to make that happen for a lot of teams

Oh and free agency technically starts today
