I can’t believe they got that race in.

Yeah it rained briefly right after we got to the track about 1 P.M. and That was it. It got real humid leading up to the green and then the clouds took over and the rain was all around to the South of us. Had a pretty big mass from Zebulon/Barnesville/Thomaston/all the way over to Pine Mountain that was moving due north and heading straight for us but it fizzled out before it got to us. It sprinkled a little but that was it. The temps actually weren't bad w/all the rain in the area. Had a good breeze.
We got lucky. Glad to see the last race on the old surface.

It was just nice to finally see Kurt in a car fast enough to beat his brother for a change.

I never been to AMS but on TV, it looks kinda rough. I wish they never changed the layout back in what the late 90’s?

The track surface is worn as all hell. It's 24 years old. It's time for a repave. The situation yesterday where there was an actual hole in the surface just exacerbates that fact.

This ain't fair IMO.
The drivers wanted the surface to be left as it is, and they took the drivers advice. But they have no choice now.

Josh Berry is back in a JRM car in the Xfinity Series this weekend, filling in for Michael Annett in the 1 car.

The 1.5'ers always get hate but Atlanta shouldn't be lumped in with them, it been a great track with both configurations.
I saw Tony Stewart beat Jr in Spring 2002, only time I ever got to see Dick Trickle race live.

He made it to the round of 8 last year so I can definitely see him getting that far. I think that's as far he gets.
The Final 4 will be both Kyles,MTJ, & Chase IMO.
