Why is lindor not taking 325 from the mets. Why must he insist on being with the mets in a contract year with no long term security with the single most cursed sport organization known to man

That Tatis $340 million mark is what this is all about.

Lindor, his agent and the union just want to see him get more than Tatis in the final number. Who's better doesn't matter to them. With every new huge contract, the goal is for the value to go up to help the market for the players.

Its more of a question on does he really want to find what kind of met shenanigan waits for him. Keep him away from ranches and school children

I can't imagine balking at $325 million and going into a free agent season without any guarantee. Is that $60 million worth the risk when $300 million is already on the table?

He is 5 years younger...Lindor is not getting a Tatis contract. What the Mets offered is a higher AAV than the Tatis contract though, he should take it.

I'm buying the Padres hard this year. They played at a 100 win pace last year, added elite pitching depth. I think they're ready to make the leap. Should be a fun battle between Dodgers and Padres.
