Whorff's pitch count actually isn't too bad for having given up 5 runs already.

It makes sense for the ruling, but the rule doesnt make sense to me if you are going to be safe at second. It isnt a potential double play if you are going to be safe.

In that case the fielder can just always have a free throw to second, even if he thinks he might be a little late if he sees the runner isnt sliding in

Has to slide. What a little league rule

The runner was already on the bag before the throw got there. It’s his bag.

He gave up 3 hits going into the inning... they just all happened to be HRs.

NC State has got be cracking up watching this in the hotel lobby. I just can’t see any way either of these teams beat them twice. Their sticks are too good that even if you can run their starter, they’ll keep pace with you on the scoreboard.

NC State is left hand heavy at the top of their lineup. That's why I'm surprised even more so that Fincher was used against Rider and not yesterday.

If Martinez can put up a start like he did last week, Tech could certainly win tonight. And hypothetically if they make it to tomorrow, I suppose they could pitch a combination of Fincher, Gibson and Crigger. NC State's staff will be used up a bit by then too, so we'd have a puncher's chance.

TCU's pinstripe uniforms WITH piping are the worst uniform of the weekend and that is saying a LOT, because there have been some very trash uniforms.

SEMO's uniforms on Friday night were god awful. Gonzaga's half piped uniforms last night were terrible. Just a few off the top of my head.

TCU pinstripe piping uniforms are traditional from the 50’s-60’s.

SEMO has a blackout uniform that’s really bad. They look like t-shirts

Doesn't make them any less awful.

They’re not as bad as you think. If they wear the cream ones with cream hats you’ll see bad

Yeah I mean everyone knows about the Vandy pinstripe blacks so those weren't included.

Those Georgia Tech ones were certainly not great, but I didn't hate them as bad as some of my buddies did.

Oregon's uniforms are also horrible. Enormous alarm clock font numbers, terrible duck logo, a weird print on the jerseys themselves.

i'm so happy for Fairfield... all they did this season was win and get hate they didn't deserve...

now they get to (probably) end it in a packed stadium against Texas

FSU should have beat Ole Miss last night and now they're about to be done.

TCU eliminated. They were an incredibly weak top 8 national seed.

TCU was a mistake

LaTech hosting was a stretch (although by all accounts the regional has been a success)

Some of the Midwest and northern teams - well, same thing different year.

We were the 16th most deserving out of the 20 finalists, but I don’t think we are the 16th best team in the country.

However, regional has definitely been a success. Fantastic environment and complete sell out.
