No, it cleared the door.
This game has had some shite, man.
The best moment was when a JSU kid was pounding his chest after a single and throwing error got him to third base. While doing it, he just walks off the bag with the third baseman standing there with the ball to tag him out.

Southern wins the SWAC and our first Louisiana team is locked in the tournament.
Jackson State goes undefeated in conference play, undefeated in the tournament until the championship. That’s got to be painful.

What makes it worse is that Jackson St. held a 6-4 lead in the top of the 9th and gave up a 3-run shot.
The homerun might make a Top 10 plays list, as the outfielder makes an outstanding play to glove the ball above the fence. His momentum forces a bullpen door open and the ball pops out of his glove as he hits the ground. Replay review was needed to confirm the call.

How much longer will Nicholls give Thibodeaux? 11 years, under .500 overall, well under .500 in conference, zero regular season or conference tournament championships while 9 others have won in that timeframe, and his teams have only even made the conference tournament 4 times in 11 years.

Box, Turchin, Tigue, Superdome, and Zephyr have all hosted. Not sure if UNO ever hosted at Masteri/Lakefront.

it was Privateer Park when UNO hosted... not sure when the Superdome hosted

It will turn into a mixture of both because it all impacts Louisiana teams.
East Carolina drops their first game in the AAC tournament. That is likely going to be a stolen bid as they were looking like a one-bid league (Tulane is technically a fringe bubble team)
