I understand. Though 2 years is a long time and a lot can happen, especially when you’re getting a bryant for that money

I always thought Riley and Wright would be the headliners. It made too much sense. It just depended on what the Cubs wanted as the third piece. A pitcher?

Cubs have young, controllable internal options at 3B in Ian Happ and David Bote. Both get on base and can play multiple positions

Yeah, if Bryant is actually at two years of control I don't see riley as a headliner either. I could see something like Waters, wright, and a smaller piece, but that would only even be doable if we signed a free agent corner OF.

How would the Angels even do it? There's no way Adell is going anywhere, and they just traded their #3 prospect for nothing.
