I think they really underestimate the value of Bryant on there, maybe because of the grievance. Assuming he has the the two years of control and he gets something like 18 this year and 25 next year - 43m going out

Pretty conservatively project him at 4.5 WAR and value a win at 9m

4.5*2*9= 81m

That’s still a pretty conservative value of him too I think

Meh, he doesn't put them closer to a world series if they don't have Sale. Moncado had his first very good year but now has 2 years of service time as well. He will be arbitration-eligible next year.

anyways I think Riley makes sense as the position player headliner since he’s a similar positional fit. Him and Wright I don’t think is crazy

I’m sure Pache isn’t available and prob not Waters

Doubtful, they wouldn't have the pitching, always my opinion it is easier to find position players than elite pitchers.

maybe they swing a deal for a pitcher this winter if they arent giving sale 30+ million while only paying moncada the min

Maybe, but they still wouldn't have a WS Ring and instead just a hope of one

we have absolutely on idea what they would or would not accomplish going forward. but theyd be in a better spot i think. we also have no idea how 2918 would have gone without sale, they were a good team regardless and sale had a weird end to the year/playoffs

Chris Sale was a huge reason why, I mean 27 games 2.11 ERA and a 12-4 record. Hard to replicate but they were a good team. Just doubt they win it all without him helping put them in the position and then once the playoffs started everyone got hot.

Riley is the type of hitter the cubs are trying to get away from. Same with Waters to an extent, though he’d be fine with the right pitching combo

Pache is more projectable as a hitter and I’d expect him to be in a deal for Bryant

I don’t put much stock into those hypothetical value charts. Teams are way too hesitant dealing away prospects who more often than not, do not reach their ceilings.

It’s so retarded how much ‘weight’ a prospect carries in the trade market.

They are far overvalued in the current MLB.

Chances of the braves trading pache would be pretty much nil, particularly for someone with only 2 years of control. Pache is likely our starting CF by mid year.
