Did I read where Ryan Newman and his wife recently separated after 16 years of marriage? If so, what a terrible situation. I hope he pulls through. Even if he survives, it’s probably gonna be a long road ahead for him. Sad situation.

Right; this isn't on Blaney. He was trying to push Newman across the finish and freak shite happens. The margin for error in that scenario is millimeters. You don't even have to make contact to push just enough air under the rear to lift him up and it's over at that point.

Drivers do this all the time and 95% of the time it works out late. 5% of the time there is a pound of pressure too much lift and shite gets loose with the quickness.
