Huge Reds fan here. When we got Bauer I wasn't a huge fan. I thought he was an autistic weirdo(which he may be). Now, I love that dude. He doesn't give two flying fricks about the media and will say or tweet whatever the hell he wants. More power to him.

He leaves a lot to be desired tactically, and his pitching selections were atrocious in the 2019 playoffs, but the players seem to love the guy and would run through a wall for him. In a 162 game season, that is more important than tactics, IMO.

Saying that, Snit improved tremendously in that department last year. Especially in the playoffs. He managed last year's postseason beautifully. He outmanaged Dave Roberts, but the better depth of the Dodgers won out in the end.
