Reds take 2/3 against the Cubs. We just can’t seem to get within 4 games of 500. Big series against the Pirates coming up.

Pitching has been killing us. Plus I'd agree, the Reds aren't as bad as people think they are, probably the unluckiest team in the division.
At least we have Hamels, Lester, and Hendricks going against the Astros. I just hope Lester doesn't have a bad start for the third one in a row.

Whoever makes a move for starting pitching, can win this division by 5+ games
No one, out of Stl,Chi,or Mil has any starting pitching. It's either stayed mediocre like stl/mil, or coming back to earth quickly(chi). Which is why Reds are taking a run at the top 4.
Either of the big3 pickup a vet, who can jump start the staff(mad bum), and they can pull away.

Bright side: worst period of baseball for the season is out of the way early and no one in the division pulled ahead.
